The Ventnor Beach Blaster 5K Challenge is a first of its kind for the Island. Can you handle a 5k run through soft sands and rushing waves? At this years 5k challenge you will experience the toughest sand run in NJ. We will have great prizes, drinks and more. We encourage teams to join, grab some partners and hit the sand running!

A Great Cause:

Portion of all entry fees for this year's event will goto the Habitat for Humanity of Atlantic County to help and assist Superstorm Sandy victims rebuild their homes.

Entry Fees:

Early entry fee is $35 till 8-31-13, $50 from9-1-13 to 9-6-13, and $60 day of event. Teams 4 or more will receive a $5 discount per person. Portion of all entry fee's are donated to our local Habitat for Humanity to assist rebuilding Hurricane riddled homes. Once the event is completed, during the awards ceremony, we will present a check to the Habitat for Humanity. So feel good as your getting hurt for a great cause!

Beach Blaster Party:

After defeating the course, Beach Blasters reward themselves with cold drinks, delicious barbeque, and awesome music at our spectacular Beach Blaster after party.

Spectators/Volunteers:

Spectators will be available to watch from certain beaches and along the boardwalk. Spectators will be permitted at the start/finish line to cheer on your favorites!

Volunteers make this event happen, do you want to be near all the action, maybe even want to hang out at some of the obstacles to help if something go awry, then please signup here.

Teams:

Challenge Your Friends to a down and dirty race through the sands of Ventnor.
Strength comes in numbers! Become part of a team to help yourself and others get through the event!
Teams are unlimited with a minimum of four people!

Lineup/Awards:

Groups will be sent on to the course in groups of 50. Groups will be labeled Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc. We will have one winner from each group of runners for individuals and teams.

In order for a team to win, we will base it off total team completion, all team members must be in same group and finish the course at the same time or before other members. You must register for group at same time. So join up prior to coming to registration tent.

There are no time chips for this event, although you can have your personal cheerleader time you.

Other winning categories to be based on outfits, costumes, and pizazz.
