Tigershark-Ocean Deck Fat Tire Duathlon:
- This event is a FAT TIRE race on the beach in the AFTERNOON. All segments will be on the hard packed sands of Daytona Beach at low-tide, starting and finishing in front of the Ocean Deck Restaurant.
- The awards and post-race party will take place inside the Ocean Deck, stay for the festivities and dinner. The Winter Jam, surfing and volkswagen car show is going on all weekend just north of the Ocean Deck on the Boardwalk, so come for the whole weekend.
- Packet pick up and day of race registration will open at 2:30p.m. on Feb 20, 2010.
Course Information:
- All competitors must use a fat tire bike; MTB, cruiser or hybrid.
- USAT sanctioned and all rules apply, including helmets.
- USAT membership required. (1 day membership is $10)
Directions:
From I-95
- Take Route 92/International Speedway Blvd. exit.
- Head east on Route 92 (International Speedway Blvd.) about 8 miles over sky bridge to beach.
- Turn left on A1A (Atlantic Blvd).
- Then make your first right on to Ocean Ave, the Ocean Deck will be about 1/4 mile on your right.
