2013 Murray Youth & Family Triathlon:
- Race is a super-sprint race for youth and novice adults.
- Distances follow USAT recommendations for age groups.
- Adults race same distances as older youth.
- Shorter distances for youth ages 10 and under (see below).
Course Information:
- Swim is in the outdoor pool.
- Bike course is a route around the park. It leaves the park at the west exit, follows State St. to Myrtle, to Jones to Vine to 5300 and back to 200 East.
- The run is on paths inside the park.
Race Distances By Age Group: - 5-6 years: swim 25 yd, bike 0.6 mi, run 14 mi
- 7-8 years: swim 50 yd, bike 1.2 mi, run .6 mi
- 9-10 years: swim 100 yd, bike 2.4 mi, run .6 mi
- 11+ years: swim 200 yd, bike 4.8 mi, run 1.2 mi
- Adults: swim 200 yd, bike 4.8 mi, run 1.2 mi
Directions:
Murray City Park:
- The park is between Vine St. and 5300 South at about 200 East.
- From I-15, take the 5300 South exit and go east to one block past State Street and turn left.
- Turn right at the bottom of the hill and park in the large parking lot to the East of the indoor pool.
