Get FIT as part of the 2013 Iowa Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church by participating in the 4th Annual Footn It for Relief event as we help eliminate malaria.
This non-competitive 5K walk/run is organized in support of Bishop Trimbles FIT challenge and in collaboration with the Wellness Ministry of the Iowa Conference.
Participants will be raising funds for the Imagine No Malaria campaign. Members of Iowa UMC congregations and communities are invited to pledge for their pastor or lay delegates in raising money for this campaign. Churches may also hold their own walks to raise funds as well.
Course Information:
Footn It for Relief will take place on Sunday, June 9 at 6:15 am with check-in starting at 6:00 am.
The 5k walk/run is located at Des Moines Greys Lake Park on Fleur Drive, look for the Footn it for Relief banner at the north entrance.
All conference delegates, including lay and clergy, are encouraged to participate.
Youth and children 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
