- Participants swim 9/10 mile in Lake Springfield, followed by a 24.9 mile bike ride and then run 6.2 miles.
- Great post race party.
- All finishers get a quality medal.
- Individuals can compete in male and female age groups or on male, female or coed teams.
- Individuals can also compete in clydesdale and athena catagories.
