Champoeg Park is a great venue. We know a lot of you have been to Champoeg - we have seen some of you there five times during the past few years. Let's think of something fun for this event. Let's keep the event a serious running event for those who want to set a PR, or who want to know how fast they can run a 5k. Let's keep it fun for those who are coming for fun. And, let's make sure it is a total 5k for those who are running for fitness.

We know two other nice events are held in the morning on this day in the Portland area. One is the popular 37th Annual Lake Run in Lake Oswego. For those who really want to run and walk For Fun, For Competition, & For Fitness, participate in the Lake Run in the morning, and come run another 5k at the Run For Boston.
