Braveheart "FREEDOM" Mud Run is a 5k or 5 mile Mud Run with military type obstacles.  There is also two seperate courses for the kids runs. 
Course Information:

The 5k and 5 mile courses start on the Motocross track, they do a half lap with several obstacles along the way.  Then it's off into the fields and woods following our Harescramble trails.  There are both man mad obstacles and natural terrain obstacles.  Rocks, hills, streams, pond crossings, foam and of course lots of mud.  The kids have their own courses.  For the 4-6 year olds, they will be running on our Pee Wee track with some small obstacles and mud.  For the 7-13 year olds, they will be running on our intermediate track. For the 14 and up ages, it's the 5k or 5 mile course.  A post party at Krebs Grove will include a wash off station, bon fire, live music, Free food and drinks for all runners and awards.  Everyone is invited to the post party.

From Route 80::  Take the Danville Exit onto Rt. 54 East to Elysburg.  Turn RIGHT at traffic signal onto Route 487 West.  Trun Left onto Route 61 South.  Turn RIGHT onto Irish Valley Rd.  Go 3.6 miles to Track.
From Route 81:  Take the Shamokin Exit onto Rt. 61  North.  Go through the town of Shamokin, then tun LEFT onto Irish Valley Rd.  Go 3.6 miles to the track.

Previous Results:

Last year we had 1138 runners, 270 of which were kids.  This year we hope to have a total of 1500 runners or more.
