2013 Dog Soldier Challenge:
The Dog Soldier Challenge is Austin's first authentic obstacle course challenge event.
It's 3.3 miles of challenging natural terrain with16 permanent U.S. Military battle themed obstacles.
Course Information:
Navigating obstacles from The Sands of Iwo Jima to the Invasion of Normandy participants encounter unexpected steep hill climbs and descents, natural water obstacles, deep trenches, dark tunnels, walls, platform obstacles and a rope bridge to name a few.
The Dog Soldier Challenge will test your strength, balance, endurance and push you to the limit.

The Dog Soldier Challenge is produced by and a fund raiser for A Veterans Voice, a nonprofit Veterans Advocacy foundation in Austin, TX. Funds will benefit Austin and Central Texas U.S. Military Veterans.
The event is family friendly and spectators are encouraged to come enjoy the day outside in a park like setting.
12 miles from Downtown Austin in the wooded area adjacent to ShadowGlen Golf Club.
