A few highlights of the event are:
- There will be a small race for the children to participate in before the actual 5k race.
- There will be flowers available for the children to make small bouquets for their mothers while they run the race.
- There will be cupcakes and other fun treats for the after party in the park.
- We will also be raffling off fun prizes!
A portion of the event's proceeds will be given to the Cocoon House, which is a non-profit organization that supports homeless youth in the community by supplying them with housing, counseling, professional work experience and much more!
Course Information:
Everyone will start at the Velodrome Shelter in Marymoor Park. The race will be on the Lake Sammamish trail.
