2010 Quintana Roo Booker T Off-Road Triathlon:
  • Packet pick up will be Friday from 4-6 pm at the pavilion next to the basketball courts.
  • Race day packet pick up will open at 7:30.
  • Transition will open at 7:30.
  • Awards will be approx 11am.

Course Information:

Quintana Roo Booker T Off-Road Triathlon

400 yards Open water swim, 6 mile Mountain bike race, 3.1 mile On road run.

This event is completely within the park. The swim is in an open water inlet, the bike is on the parks mountain bike trail and the run is on open roads within the park.

From Knoxville

Going west on I-40
Take I-75 South split and Continue on I-75
Merge onto Bonny Oaks Dr/TN-317 W via exit 7
Turn right onto Jersey Pike
Turn right onto TN-58 E
Turn left at Champion Rd   
Turn left at Booker T Washington State Park
Follow signs to basketball courts.
Park below courts and come up to pavilion for registration.

From Nashville

Going south east on I-24 toward Chattanooga
Take exit 185B to merge onto I-75 N toward Knoxville        
Take exit 4 for State Hwy 153 N
Merge onto TN-153 N
Take the State Hwy 58 N exit        
Merge onto TN-58        
Turn left at Champion Rd   
Turn left at Booker T Washington State Park
Follow signs to basketball courts.
Park below courts and come up to pavilion for registration.


From Atlanta

Going north on I-75
Follow I-75 north split in Chattanooga toward Knoxville
Take exit 4 for State Hwy 153 N
Merge onto TN-153 N
Take the State Hwy 58 N exit        
Merge onto TN-58        
Turn left at Champion Rd   
Turn left at Booker T Washington State Park
Follow signs to basketball courts.
Park below courts and come up to pavilion for registration.

  • Situated on the shores of scenic Chickamauga Lake not far from the city of Chattanooga is 353-acre Booker T. Washington State Park.
  • The park is named in honor of the famous leader, Booker Taliaferro Washington. Washington was born into slavery at Hale's Ford, Virginia, but with great determination he secured an education and went on to become one of our great Americans.
  • He is perhaps best known as a former president of the Tuskegee Institute, a black organization for higher education.
