2013 Immokalee Run & Ride for Literacy:

  • A charity event for Jump Start Family Literacy Academy.
  • April 13th Saturday: 5k run
  • April 14th Sunday: Bike ride - Metric Century, 30 miles, & 15 miles

    • Course Information:


    Bike Tour Sunday:
  • Start & finish at Farm Worker Village, Immokalee, FL
  • All riders must wear a CPSC approved helmet. There will be no exceptions!
  • It is illegal to wear headphones while biking.
  • Please follow the rules of the road. Stay to the right.

    RIDE STARTS: (Ride leader will meet with riders prior to the ride start)
  • 8:00 a.m. - 62 mile start
  • 9:00 a.m. - 30 mile start
  • 9:30 a.m. - 15 mile start.

  • The Jump Start Family Literacy Academy of Immokalee was established in 2003 to break the cycle of illiteracy prevalent in many Immokalee families.
  • Jump Start provides preschool education, parenting, English classes for parents, and Parent and Child Time.
