2010 "TRI-TO-WIN" Frederick Kids Triathlon:

The 3rd Annual "TRI-TO-WIN" Frederick Kids Triathlon is held each Memorial Day weekend for children between the ages of 6 to 13 at Frederick High School in Frederick, Maryland.

The triathlon offers a safe, non-competitive triathlon experience for children, and more importantly, provides important lessons on staying safe in the sun.

The race features a pool swim, residential bike course and park path run.

Course Information:

Children ages 6-9: Swim 100-meters; Bike 2-miles; Run .75-miles.

Children ages 10-13: Swim 150 meters; Bike 4-miles; Run 1.5-miles.

Directions:

Frederick High School is located at 650 Carroll Parkway, Frederick, MD 21701, just one-half mile east of Rt. 15 and in-between W. Patrick St. or Rosedale Ave. (taking either exit East).

Parking is only permitted behind the High School or off the school grounds and race course.

Other Info:

Distinctive medals are awarded to all finishers crossing the Finish Line! AND, young triathletes also receive a race Goodie Bag with a commemorative triathlon WIN-THE-FIGHT race shirt, sports bottle and variety of goodies at packet pickup.
