Run Course #1

The FIRST run segment will take place on the sidewalk next to the auditorium and at the west end of the transition area. The 7 10 year olds will run a 12 mile while the 11-14 year olds will run a full mile. A run course map will be provided at registration.
Walking/Resting on the run course
Athlete may walk or stop to rest on the run course, but again this time will be counted towards their final time.
Bike Course

Athletes will walk/run with their bike out of the transition area to the bike mounting area. Once on the bike, triathletes will head east on Loretta, then left on Orinoco, left on Banta and then left into the schools west parking lot, then repeat the course in reverse. THE BIKE COURSE IS AN OUT AND BACK LOOP. Triathletes will come back to the transition area the same way they went out. On the bike, they will keep the course markings on their left. The 7 10 year olds will complete one loop while the 11 14 year olds will complete 2 loops. Athletes are responsible for counting their own laps. Spectators are encouraged to help as well. After the triathlete has completed the bike leg of the triathlon, he will then dismount the bike and walk/run it back into the bike to run transition area. The bike course map will be provided at registration.
