6 kilometers is the average distance women in Africa walk for water each day. COME UNITY is committed to changing that fact. Proceeds from the 6k for Water will go directly toward COME UNITY’s clean water projects in East Africa. This year the 4th annual Philadelphia/East Norriton 6k for Water is moving back to the beautiful Norristown Farm Park! Please join us Saturday, June 1st.

WHERE: Norristown Farm Park - 500 W Germantown Pike Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Follow signs through the park and check in at the pavilion.

ADULT 6K RACE: Only participants registered by May 1 will receive a race t-shirt and goody bag. Adults registered by 5/1 = $30 5/2-5/30 = $35 Day of registration = $45. ADULTS REGISTER HERE: http://www.runrace.net/findarace.php?id=13152PA1

KIDDIE DASH: We will have a KIDDIE .06k dash again this year! The Kiddie dash will be approximately 10:15am, when the adult race comes to an end. JERRY CARRY RELAY: Take a sprint in the shoes of those who travel 6km for water, with the Jerry Carry Relay. Teams of four fill a jerry can and carry it through a rugged one mile trail in this ultimate change the world challenge. Now accepting four – person teams for this debut event. TIMES: Adult race, 9:15 am. Jerry Carry Relay, 10:20 am. Kiddie dash, 10:15 am. (Check in begins at 8:30am)

Awards will be given to the fastest two men and women in each age group and the male and female winner of the race! There will also be an award given to the fastest stroller to cross the finish line and the fastest relay team. After the race, enjoy light food, refreshments and live music! Families of four or more, look for a $10 off coupon code at online registration (not available to Jerry Can Relay). Proceeds from our race will go towards clean water solutions for those who currently lack clean water. Thank you for your participation in making a dent in the world water crisis!

Not a serious runner? No problem! We have our share of serious racers, but we have a lot of people like you who care about people in need around the world and just want to make a tangible difference in the world. Run it, walk it, push a stroller, bring your pup or rollerblades- we're all changing the world together. (The trail is completely paved so wheels work well.)
