The Free Women's Center will be hosting its 4th Annual Walk & Run for Life on Saturday, 12 October 2013, in the Waynesville City Park. We will set up a registration canopy next to the reserved Gazebo #3 along with an activity area for the children attending, which will include a large bounce house, clown station, free balloons, and face painting. We will provide free donuts & coffee and bottled water in the morning. Registration is $20 and includes a free Life Guard Sport Pack, plus, snacks and drinks following the Walk & Run for Life. Those who register on-line prior to the event, will receive a free T-shirt. There will be registration the morning of the event starting at 8:00 am. The Run will begin promptly at 9:00 am, followed by the Walk at 9:30 am.
The Walk is less than 2 miles, while the run is 5K around the Waynesville City Park. Trophies will be awarded for the top three finishers in four categories: Male (18 & under, 19 & older) and Female (18 & under, 19 & older).
Online Registration for this event will begin on Monday, 1 July 2013.
