Swim - 1/4 Mile - Triangle. Lake Swim in the Crystal clear waters of Marsh Creek State Park.
Expected water temperature around 72 degrees. Wetsuits allowed and optional if water temperature is 78 degrees or less taken on race morning. Come prepared with a wetsuit just in case.
Swim Cut Off Rule.All participants are expected to be able to complete the swim discipline maintaining a steady consistent stroke and able to maintain on course.Lifeguards are provided for emergency situations and to prevent swimmers from drowning.Any swimmer who is in constant need of aid from lifeguards along the swim is considered to be a hazard to themselves and other swimmers and has not prepared properly for the race (this includes breaks, and redirection on course).If a lifeguard at any point feels an athlete is taking too much attention, the lifeguard reserves the right to remove the athlete from the race.This removal will result in a DNF (Did Not Finish) from the entire race (the athlete will not be allowed to compete in the bike or run) at which point athlete must hand in their timing chip to lifeguard or designated staff person.
Bike - 12.5 Miles. Moderately hilly and scenic. Some technical turns. NOT A CLOSED COURSE. STILL OPEN TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC.
Exit Transition area
Head out on Park Road.
Turn right onto Moore Road.
Right onto Dorlans Mill Road (cauton on descent here as it is fast and has some curves). NEVER CROSS THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AS THESE ARE COUNTRY ROADS - SOME ROADS DO NOT HAVE LINES.
Right onto Creek Road.
Right onto Marshall Rd.
Straight through Marshall Road which now becomes Little Conestoga Rd.
Right onto Little Conestoga at Styler Road intersection.
Stay straight on Little Conestoga at Milford Road.
Right onto Park Road.
Back to transition area.
Run - 2 miles.
Out and Back course.
Stay to the right at all times.
Finish near transition area.
From Philadelphia Area
Exit 312 towards Pottstown onto N. Pottstown Pike/PA-100 North
100 North for about 2 miles
Left onto Park Road and go for about 1.7 miles
From Delaware and South
Route 202 North
Route 100 North onto N. Pottstown Pike for about 8 miles
