4th Annual TRIKW
While hosting a maximum of 1,000 participants and some of the sports best known triathletes, TRIKW allows you to bask in the warm weather and the waters of the Atlantic Ocean while the rest of the country is experiencing winter.
The race is held on Saturday to give participants ample opportunity to experience the fun and quirky side of Key West. Only 90 miles from Cuba, Key West is rich in history, arts, music, nightlife, and culinary delights.
Course Information:
TRIKW's Sprint Distance course features an Atlantic Ocean 0.75km swim from Higgs Beach, a 20km bike along South Roosevelt/US 1 beachside, and a 5km out and back run along Smather's Beach. The swim exit features a beach exit with a short run to transition. The bike course is a double loop along South Roosevelt/Smather's Beach and run course is an out and back with a short beach finish.
TRIKW's Olympic Distance course features an Atlantic Ocean 1.5km swim from Higgs Beach, a 40km bike along South Roosevelt/US 1 beachside and up US1 to Boca Chica Naval Air Station, and a 10km out and back run along Smather's Beach. The swim exit features a beach exit with a short run to transition. The bike and run courses are out and back with a short beach finish for the run.
