Description
The French Creek Triathlon will take place at the beautiful French Creek State Park. Participants may choose between the Sprint distance, Olympic distance, or relay division.
Event schedule and times
Registration and packet pickup: Saturday 12 noon - 5PM, Sunday 6AM-7:30AM
Race start: Sunday 8AM

The swim portion will take place on Hopewell Lake. The swim will be clean fresh water with highly visible swim markers.
The bike course will be a challenging out and back course on PA-345 and Shed Road. This course generally has a lot of climbing, but you will not encounter steep grades in excess of 8%.
The run course (5K) will be a lollipop loop with parts along Scott's Run Lake. The 10K course will have an additional out and back leg past the park campgrounds.

Directions:
From PA Turnpike (from the east):
Take Pottstown Exit 312, Route 100 North. Turn left on Route 401 West (Conestoga Road). Make a right on Route 345 North (Bulltown Road). Turn left onto South Entrance Road and then right on Park Road. Park office, lake, transition area, etc. will be on your right.
From PA Turnpike (from the west):
Take Morgantown Exit 298, Make a right on Route 10 North. Make the 3rd right on Joanna Road. Turn right onto Elverson Road. Take a slight left on Hopewell Road. Hopewell Road turns into Park Road. Park office, lake, transition area, etc. will be on your right.
