2013 Englewood Triathlon:
- This is the 14th annual Englewood YMCA Triathlon.
- Maximum registration of 350 athletes including teams will be reached early and there is no race day registration so register early to get your spot!
- Enjoy beautiful Manasota Key and a very supportive multi-sport community.
- Race day will start off with athlete check-in at 6:00am.
- Entry includes Champion chip timing, goodie bags, tech shirts, live music, photos, continental breakfast post-race, awards and prizes.
Course Information:
- Swim 400 meters buoy to buoy in the Gulf of Mexico parallel to the shore.
- Bike a beautiful tree-lined fast and flat course out and back on Manasota Key.
- Run 3.1 miles on road and sidewalk with water stations at mile 1 and 2.
First Time Sprint Finish
Directions:
Manasota Key where Beach Road meets Gulf Blvd.
From Interstate 75:- Take the River Road exit to Englewood and go all the way down River Road to SR776.
- Go South to Beach Road and take a right at the McDonald's.
- Once over the bridge onto Manasota Key, the public beach will be on your left.
- Parking is free during the event but you must pay to park if you are staying after the event is over.
