2010 LifeNets Triathlon:

  • Get ready for the 2010 LifeNets Triathlon!!!
  • The LifeNets Triathlon is back!! The Mandan Community Center will once again be the sight of the LifeNets triathlon. We have reserved the facility for Sunday, August 22, 2010. The same exciting course will be used as in the 2008 triathlon. The triathlon will begin with the swimming. Athletes will continue to the cycling event which heads south on 6th Avenue, NW, then south along to the Hwy. 6 turnaround. Athletes will finish the event with a 5k or 10k run along the cross country trail behind the Community Center.
  • To prepare for the event, why not take part in our Spring Prep Tri. This self-paced event is just the thing to get you ready to compete in the summer competitions!! This self-paced event begins Thursday, April 22, 2010 and ends at midnight on May 31, 2010. Register by midnight April 21, 2010. Participants have 40 days to finish their category. All registered, self-paced triathlon participants will receive $10.00 off the Mandan LifeNets Triathlon on August 22, 2010.

    Youth Triathlon Distances:
  • Youth (Ages 11-14) Swim 200 yards, Bike 6 miles, Run 1 mile
  • Children (Ages 6-10) Swim 100 yards, Bike 3 miles, Run 1/2 mile.
  • Teams are also an option for the children

  • The Mandan Community Center is located on the corner of Division Street & Sunset Drive.
  • Mandan is located in south-central North Dakota, 7 miles west/northwest of Bismark.

    Directions:
  • Heading west on I-94, take the Sunset Drive exit, heading south.
  • Follow this street until you see the Mandan Community Center sign on the right side of the road.
  • You may turn at that street or the next one if you miss the first turn in.

    Individual Sprint: $50.00

    Individual Olympic: $50.00

    Individual Youth: $25.00 (ages 11-14)

    Individual Child:    $25.00 (ages 6-10)

    Team Fee Adult: $85.00 (must be mixed sexes)

    Team Fee Child: $45.00 (must be within age categories but may be        of same sex)

    Family Team Entry:    $75.00
