Located in Alameda the venue features panoramic views of the bay and a flat, fast bike and run course. Keeping the distances short make the Mermaid an ideal event for the first time triathlete as well as provides a fun, fast race for the seasoned veteran.

**The swim, duahtlon and 5k start is located approximately a quarter mile to the north of the transition area. Athletes should be at the start line 15 minutes prior to their start. The mini mermaid will start at the expo area.
