Sprint Triathlon
[ 400m SWIM | 12mile BIKE | 3.1mile RUN ]

Olympic Triathlon - (featuring a Collegiate Division)
[1500m SWIM | 24.85mile BIKE | 6.2 mile RUN ]  

  • Relay Division is available in the Sprint and Olympic Triathlon!

Kid's Aquathlon
[ 25m SWIM | 1 mile RUN ]
[ 50m SWIM | 1 mile RUN ]
[ 100m SWIM | 1 mile RUN ]    

  • Kids can choose the distance they swim based on their comfort level in the water.
  • All kids will run the same distance.

 

Course Information:


  • The Capitol View Triathlon is held at Governor Nelson State Park. The park is situated on Lake Mendota with a beautiful view of downtown Madison.
  • The swim is a loop starts and finishes at the beach. The swim is a deep water start.
  • The bike course takes you through beautiful country side with some moderately challenging rolling hills.
  • The run course is an exciting and challenging course that is all on trails! The surface is a mixture of dirt, grass, and wood chips.
  • Don't miss your chance to participate in this great event!!

  • Governor Nelson State Park is located on the north shore of Lake Mendota, directly across the lake from downtown Madison.
  • Entrance to the park is located on Highway M at Oncken Road.
