Premier century in the east bay which includes climbs of Mt Diablo and Morgan Territory. Almost 7,000 ft of climbing ensures that this is a challenging event which makes for a fantastic finish to the biking season. For the less adventurous routes of 60, 30 and 15 miles are also available at this event making it a destination event for seasoned century riders or casual family riders alike. The event benefits the Sentinels of Freedom whose goal is provide life altering changes and support to severally wounded veterans

A challenging century featuring two climbs to 2,000 ft. and throw in some rolling hills to make a total ascent of 6,990 ft. for the entire ride.  The first climb takes you to the Ranger Station junction on Mt. Diablo at mile 18.5.  As you drop down the north side of Mt. Diablo you make your way to the small historic town of Clayton.  The second climb is at mile 46.75 into the Morgan Territory.  The ride then traverses through Morgan Territory followed by a breathtaking dive down into the Livermore Valley.  The route takes you along some of the region's best wineries and vineyards.  Continuing, you enter the old railroad station town of Sunol before returning to the start.  This is a century filled with a variety of challenging climbs that are completed in the first half before winding through beautiful foothills of the East Bay to the finish.

Post Ride Barbeque

All event participants are invited to join us for a barbeque after their ride.  Lunch and t-shirts will be available after the ride in the Park Area see map for details. We do encourage you to bring lawn chairs or picnic families for you and your family to enjoy the music.  Attending non-bikers don't have to miss the barbeque!.  Additional lunch tickets are available for $5. 

Various vendors will be onsite displaying their wares. Bike Shops, Sporting Goods stores as well and wineries and breweries will be on hand to make the post ride party a memory event.

Music

This event will feature music by Ken Cooper.  Ken Cooper is a renowned local musician who has played in such memory bands as the Buzz tones.  He and his band will be providing lively music to enjoy at the end of your ride along with the food, wine, beer, massages and other stuff.  Music will start about 1:30 and continue to 4:30 PM.
