Dont miss the first annual Carlinville Route 66 Biathlon and Run, presented by Winning Communities and First
To The Finish. All proceeds will go toward the creation of a bike/running trail from Carlinville to Beaver Dam
State Park. As part of the Winning Communities initiative, the goal of this race is to help broaden the exercise
options available to the people of Macoupin County.
Course Information:
The run course will be the same for the biathlon and the 4 mile run. It is a flat out and back with a water station at the

The bike course is a 19 mile, 2 loop bike course over mostly flat country roads. Water stations at mile 2 and 10. (http://
