2013 Defiance Optimist Sprint Triathlon:This sprint triathlon is paying CASH, $500,200,100,75,50 to the top 5 males & females overall. It is a very fast and flat course this is our 3rd year and we keep growing. Lots of food and door prizes at the end so come and win some money.

SwimSwim course has had some sun problems in the past but we have switched it again to a north -south swim so the sun is not in view of the markers.½ mile very easy swim not far from shore.
BikeThe Bike is very flat and fast on back country roads with corner marshals at all corners. IT IS OPEN TO TRAFFIC.
Run:The run is up a small hill to the reservoir for ½ mile then down off to the road into a industrial area for 1.5 miles and then back up on the reservoir for 1 mile to the finish.
Everyone that has competed loved the course.

Directions:
|
Take U.S. route 24 to Baltimore exit Left and head into town.Then take the first right about 1 mile down on Baltimore, go over R.R tracks and ¼ mile reservoir is on the right. Drive to west end of reservoir.
