The 1st annual Rockin R Kayak Triathlon will be held at the same time as the regular Triathlon.This race features a 13 Mile out and back Bike ride that winds along the Guadalupe River. Get off of the Bike and then run down to the River and jump into your Kayak. Rockin R will provide the Kayak, paddle and Life Vest. Paddle down the Beautiful Guadalupe River with 3 sets of rapids. You will Kayak one mile and then exit the River at anthor Rockin R facility. You will then run 3 miles around the quaint little community of Gruene. The run route is on the same route as the regular Triathlon.

Directions:
How to get there: Gruene is a small community located within New Braunfels Texas located just 14 miles north of San Antonio Texas. From IH35 take exit# 191 and head west on FM306. After a couple of miles take a left on Hunter Road, look for the Gruene Community sign. Hunter Road will dead end to Gruene Road, take a right and follow the road down the hill and over the River bridge. The Rockin R Race Site is on your left after you cross the bridge
