2013 Dash for Dobes 5k :
This is our 3rd annual 5k race to raise much needed funding for a pure breed Doberman Pinscher Rescue organization.
Also includes a 1 mile walk "for those that left paw prints on your heart".
Hand Me Down Dobes is a 501c3 non profit pure breed Doberman Pinscher rescue organization staffed entirely by volunteers.
We are striving to bring awareness about all rescues at this event by hosting several other dog rescues in the surrounding counties of Columbus.
Our mission is to rescue pure breed Doberman pinschers regardless of age or illness.
We strive to bring public awareness about the importance of rescue, spaying/neutering, immunizations and heartworm preventative, socialization, training and selecting the right type of breed for a families life style.
Hand Me Down Dobes has been a non profit rescue since 2000 and has placed over 1200 loving noble Dobermans into pre approved forever loving homes!!!
Course Information:
This is a 5k race and 1 mile walk at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park in down town Columbus, Ohio. The course will begin at the dog park and run along scenic paved paths along the park and Scioto river. Awards to top three finishers and top dog finisher. First 50 dogs will receive race bandanas with the Dash for Dobes insignia.
