2010 Kansas City Triathlon:
Heartland Sports Promotions offers The Kansas City Triathlon, the only Olympic Distance triathlon (1.5km/0.9 miles swim, 40km/24.8 miles bike, 10km/6.2 miles run) in the Kansas City metro area.
The Kansas City Triathlon will be held at scenic Longview Lake in Lees Summit, Missouri on Sunday, May 23, 2010 and is forecast to quickly become the largest triathlon in the area.
There are many exciting activities that will make this event special and unique as it will cater to the participating athletes, families and friends like none other in the Kansas City metro area.
The Kansas City Triathlon will be a destination event that all triathletes from novice to elite will want to make part of their 2010 race plans.

Olympic & Half-Olympic Distance Triathlons:
Kansas City International Distance Triathlon: 1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run.
Kansas City Sprint Triathlon: 750 meter swim, 20km bike, 5km run.

Longview Lake in Kansas City is located just off of 470 and Raytown Road with easy access from 435, I-35 and 291. .
Race starts at the west swim beach.
