1.  Everyone can participate, old, young, fast, slow, walker or runner
2.  Show up with a white shirt at the start line (if you want color)
3.  Prepare to be covered in magic color dust  by the finish

Event Details:
The Shamrock Shuffle is Burlingtons first and only 5K race  thats all about a color filled morning with friends and family.  Crazy costumes are encouraged, and white shirts are mandatory for color enthusiasts to get the most color effect!  Light snacks and entertainment for participants will be available following completion of the course.

Course Details:
The event starts and finishes at Horseshoe Shelter House, located just inside the Madison Ave entrance to Crapo Park.  This is a non-timed event.  Participants will run or walk through bursts of color at designated areas along the course through scenic Crapo Park. Your event shirt, or other white shirt  will become a colorful souvenir by the completion of the course.  Pets are not allowed. The Shamrock Shuffle will take place rain or shine; no refunds.

Get your green on!  Our leprechauns (volunteers) will be tossing their magic dust into the air in front of racers so you may want to cover your mouth and wear eye protection like sunglasses as you run through the color zones.  The color dust is made of food-grade corn starch and coloring  and is safe for human consumption. You may want to bring along a towel or garbage bag to protect your car interior as you travel home.

Registration Details: 
This is a fund raising  event.  The entry fee, includes a white, long-sleeve, shirt and is $20/ Adult, $15/Youth 12 and under if turned in by Friday, March 1. Entry fees go up to $25/Adult $15/Youth 12 and Under after March 1 and the day of the race.  Entry forms will be accepted the day of the event, but shirts are not guaranteed.
