The ColdAvenger Extreme North Dakota Iceman Triathlon (END-IT), presented by Due North, is the premiere winter endurance event of the Red River Valley.
END-IT returns to the Grand Cities for it's third year on February 23rd, 2012 and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The sprint distance event will consist of cross-country skiing (classic), biking, running, and a fun sled race to the finish line.
The course runs along the Grand Forks Greenway and will often include short sections of more challenging terrain such as ungroomed skiing, biking and running on snow-mobile trails, etc. in each discipline designed to make the race interesting and unique but not daunting.
It is open to individuals and relay teams of three and is meant of the extreme athlete and racer as well as for first time winter triathlete who want to experience an interesting and challenging race.

Take Interstate 29 Exit 140.
Exit East onto Demers Ave. 3.8 miles
Take right (south) onto Washington Street .5 miles
Take left (east) on 13th Ave .8 miles
Continue east on Lincoln Drive .3 miles
Spectators and fans are welcome to come to the Lincoln Park and the Greenway and cheer on the racers! Registration is now open and can be found on the ENDracing website http://www.endracing.com/p/end-it.html.
Participants are encouraged to bring all of their own equipment (skis, bike, and sled). Skis will be available for rent on a first come first serve basis through via www.endracing.com.
