Triathlon : Boulder Climb 300 meters, Bike 12 Miles, Run 6 Miles

2013 Cushion Peak Adventure Challenge:

Two person team adventure race. Registration deadline id April 12th or when field is full.

Race is limited to the first 50 teams. Many divisions for competition.

There are goods for each participant, hot catered food at the finish line, give aways and awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in each division.

Course Information:

2013 Race Course:

You are totally self sufficient.

You will go through the transition area between each leg of the race.

The race will include a rifle and archery range, plus at least on 300 meter boulder climb.

Running: legs totaling 6 miles.

Biking: legs totalling 12 miles

Special Challenges: Nothing that the average athlete can't complete.

Directions:

South Mt YMCA:

From Reading: take Rte 422 West for approximately 4 miles to the Sinking Spring Borough Hall.

Turn Left at light onto Fritztown Rd.

Go approximately 4.5 miles to Fritztown (look for Fritztown Fire Co on the left).

Take the next right which is Galen Hall Rd.

Follow 2 miles to Cushion Peak Rd and turn right.

Follow to South Mt YMCA on left.

Many divisions: Coed, male, female and masters (both members 40+) ** Coed masters only if more than three teams.
The goods: race shirt and other goods, plus hot catered food at the finish with lots of random prizes too.
Awards: First place team in each division. 2nd and 3rd place teams in each division (Based on the number of teams - 5 and 10 teams per division respectively)
