2013 : Klondike Days Snowshoe Challenge

        •  Come Race or Tromp with Us! The Snowshoe Challenge will be an exciting part of the 23nd annual Klondike Days. The course runs through the woods on beautiful trails behind Rockin W Stables in Eagle River. Snowshoe Events • 3 and 6 mile race (men & women) • Tromp - This is a noncompetitive walk/run distance for 1 or 3 miles. • Kids races for ages 10 & under Registration/check-in: Saturday, March 3: 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. or Sunday, March 4: 9:00 - 10:30 a.m

2013 : Klondike Days Snowshoe Challenge

       •  Kids Kids are invited to run the short-distance races but are also welcome to sign up for the 1 mile Tromp or 3 mile Race (Kids must only pay once even if they are competing in 2 events). All Abilities Welcome The Snowshoe Challenge is designed for Snowshoers of all levels to enjoy. The woodland scenery is beautiful, and distances are appropriate for beginners to veteran racers. Families can tromp together too! Snowshoe Challenge Awards: • 3 mile race: A plaque & prizes will be awarded to the top overall men and women finishers; medals will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place overall finishers (note: this is a change from 2012!) • Tromp: all finishers will receive a ribbon. • Kids races: all participants will receive a ribbon. Klondike Days Festival All participants receive a pass to the Klondike Days Festival with their race packet, and are invited to explore the festival on Sunday! Braveheart Snowshoe Racing Series Part of the FREE “Braveheart Snowshoe Racing Series.” The Braveheart Snowshoe Series is one of the major snowshoe series in the country. Please check out www.cutemoose.net for Braveheart Series races and additional information.
