On March 17, 2013, St. Patrick's Day, Athlete in You welcomes you to downtown Sparks on Victorian Square to show your Irish spirit by running in the Sparks Shamrock Shuffle. A 5k fun run for the entire family and runners of all levels.
Wear your best Leprechaun outfit, paint yourself green, or just show off the "Irish" in you on a festive run through downtown Sparks and side streets that will be closed to traffic.
The Sparks Shamrock Shuffle will be held at 1pm and give plenty of time to stay downtown and enjoy a "green beer" or "green root beer" for kids. Showing your St. Patrick's Day spirit is highly encouraged!
Course will be professionally timed for the competitive runner, or for those looking to guage their current running fitness. However, runners and fitness enthusiasts of all levels are encourged to show up and have a good time.
Online registration will close on 3/15/13 at 8pm. Fees will go up by $10 at bib and t-shirt pickup and day of run.
