This is an opportunity for people to either get a taste for the sport of triathlon, or keep the buzz going through the cold winter months in Indiana. Participants will swim in a heated pool, ride on a stationary bike that is provided and run on an indoor track. [Note- not a treadmill run]
You can sign up for the 15 minute option or the 10 minute option. By that we mean that you will swim as far as you can in 15 or ten minutes, then bike for 15 or 10 minutes and then run for the same. We will keep track of your distances for you.
This is a very low key event that can be as easy or competitive as you want it to be. You will have a five minute transition time between the swim and the bike, otherwise, then you go from the bike right into the run.

Course Information:
This is all indoors since it is about 19 degrees today in Northern Indiana. Brrr.
Directions:
Memorial Health & LIfestyle Center is a very nice gym facility in downtown South Bend, Indiana. There is a parking garage connected to the club with plenty of covered parking. There is a fee to park, but your entry into the club is covered with admission.
Other Info:
To keep the costs down, there is no awards ceremony. After the event, we will all go out for some food at the Choclate Cafe around the corner. You can meet some of the other participants and maybe make some new friends for the new season ahead!
