The Face Your Fears Foundation, founded in 2012, was created to raise awareness of the Special Operation Forces. It will kick off with the Face Your Fears Mud Run on February 23-24, in Bluffton, SC.
The mud run is designed to push participants to their mental and physical threshold through a series of obstacles.
In addition to a .25 long children's race, there are two course lengths from which to choose.
There is a 3 mile course, called the Courage Course, that will consists of 16 obstacles, and a 10 mile course, called the Valor Course, that will consists of 25 obstacles.
The Face Your Fears Mud Run gives civilians the opportunity to support Special Operations Forces not only monetarily, but also by challenging themselves on our courses to get a taste of the challenges our Special Operations Forces face on a daily basis.
Mud runners will earn their own set of dog tags by completing the mud run challenge.
Face Your Fears Mud Run proudly supports the following four organizations and will donate race proceeds to each:
1. The MARSOC Foundation
2. The US Navy SEAL Foundation
3. The Lone Survivor Foundation
4. The Brothers in Arms Foundation
