Swim Starting and finishing at the Boulder Beach South Access Ramp, athletes will keep the first and last buoys on their right as they swim this rectangular swim course, with all other buoys kept on their left.
Bike All athletes will begin the bike portion of their race by exiting the top of transition, then making a right-hand turn on Lakeshore Dr. After about 5 1/2 miles, you will reach the turnaround point where you will then return the way you came back to Boulder Beach and your transition area. There will be one aid station on this course just after the turnaround.
Run Runners will exit the bottom of transition (where they entered from the swim), and will make a hard right onto the trail. Follow the trail out to a well marked right hand turn, then up to another right onto the paved road. Sprint athletes will turnaround where this paved road intersects with the Boulder Beach South Access Road, Olympic and Half will continue on! All courses will be marked with directional signs and staffed with volunteers!
