2009 Cedro Peak Adventure Race:
This race will be staged from the Cedro Peak Campground area in Cibola Nat'l Forest near Tijeras.
The start time is 8am on October 11th and will go for about 5 hours.
It will have primarily mountain biking and trail running elements and of course navigation.
The course will be completely new style in contrast to what has been seen before in adventure races in New Mexico.
A strong suggestion will be to have a dual suspension mountain bike for the race. There will also be two mystery events in the race.
Get ready to have some fun and you will get very familiar with the best mountain biking in the Albuquerque area.
The navigation will be tough, but fair, and you will have to make decisions to on what checkpoints to get.

- Mountain Bike & helmet(Strong suggestion:Bring a bike computer to keep track of mileage) Trail or running shoes
- Back pack capable of carrying 100 oz of water and some energy food
- Water proof map case or 1 quart zip-lock bag (per team)
- Whistle
- Cell phone
- Compass
