- Price: pre-registration entry fee is $30 (65 for teams) or $35 (70 for teams) on the day of the race which includes a free T-shirt for the first 100 entrants.
- Directions To Race: Fort Rucker is about 90 miles South of Montgomery, AL; 30 miles Northwest of Dothan, and 100 miles North of the Florida Gulf Coast. It is bordered by the communities of Enterprise to the West, Daleville to the South, and Ozark to the East. An excellent road network makes it easy to get to the post from any direction. Entry to the post is through three main gates; Ozark, Daleville, Enterprise Gates. See Map. There will be detailed maps to the West Beach area available at each of the three gates onto Fort Rucker.

This is THE RACE to do as a final prep for the Gulf Coast Triathlon.
COURSE
Swim: COLD, man-made lake, shallow, and not particularly clear. Wetsuit's are ENCOURAGED. The water temperature may be as low as the high 60s to the low 70s.
Bike: Difficult rolling hills on mostly smooth roads. Several long "in the saddle" climbs with a few, short "out of the saddle" ascents.
Run: Gently rolling course. The first 2 miles of the run include some gravel road.
Other: Bicycle helmets, appropriate footwear and swimwear are required. NOTE: Swim caps not provided, 2 piece swimsuits not recommended, wet suit is authorized.
Notice: This IS NOT a USAT Sanctioned race. HOWEVER, all USAT Rules are in effect. Draft marshals will be out in force. The volunteer force is 100% soldiers assigned to the Post.
