Course Info: Sprint Triathlon (1k swim, 21k bike, 5k run)
  • The swim goes north to south in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
  • Scenic flat bike route tours through the island and the villages.
  • Great beach run along the ocean.
     
    Directions: I-75 to Exit #205 (Clark Road/St. Rd 72). Head west over Stickney Point bridge. Turn north, go 2 miles to main beach pavilion on left

    Siesta Key Beach is on the west coast of Florida,
    55 miles south of Tampa, 77 miles north of Ft Myers,
    and just west of Sarasota in the Gulf of Mexico

  • Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-17, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
  • Clydesdales: Male 210 lbs+
  • Athena: Female 145 lbs+
  • Relay Teams: Male, Female, Mixed

     

  • The Siesta Key Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event, All Participants must show proof of USAT membership ON RACE DAY, or purchase a one day ($10) license at Registration. To Buy an annual membership and print out a temporary card CLICK HERE. (if you do this your official USAT Membership Card will be mailed to you, but you can print out a temporary ID Card on your own computer that will be valid until your permanent one arrives via regular mail)


  • Directions: I-75 to (Old exit 37) Clark Road, head west, keep going (Clark Road turns into Stickney Point Road) till you cross draw bridge. After draw bridge turn right at light (Midnight Pass Road). Bear left at next light (Beach Road), Siesta Key Public Beach will be on your left


    This race benefits the Sarasota YMCA Sharks Swim Team which has for 41 years produced world class champions from youth of all backgrounds.
