COURSE: Sprint Triathlon
Swim 400 Meters: Point to point. Mass start. Swan Creek with exit at mouth on Bull Shoals Lake. Use exit stairs at boat ramp to transisition area. Wetsuits allowed if water is at 78 degrees or below as expected. Swim course closes 30 minutes after start.
Bike 20k (12.4 miles): Out and back. Exit transisition across bridge. Continue on Y to Foysyth Courthouse and turn arond at 160. Traffic controlled but course is open. Ride to extreme right unless passing. DQ for crossing center line. NO DRAFTING (1 minute penalty). Helmets required. Bike course closes 90 minutes after swim start.
Run 5k (3.1 miles): Out and back. Exit transisition on Parkway pass tennis courts. Veer left at Shadowrock Lodge and follow road adjacent to Swan Creek. Turn around at the 1st stop sign. Traffic controlled but course is open. Run facing traffic (1 minute penalty). Water at turnaround. Run course closes 120 minutes after swim start.
