Upon entering Elma take turn left on Hwy 8 heading west. Take the next exit and turn left over the freeway. Turn right on Wenzelslough road. Park is 1/4 mile up on the right side.

- Course Info: The gateway to Mount Rainier National Park serves as the host for the 8th year of this popular season opening event. The race starts and finishes at the King County Fairgrounds in Enumclaw. The Mount Rainier Duathlon consists of an 8.5K run, 50k roadbike, followed by a 6K run. Short course will be 3K run, 25K bike, and 6K run. The run and bike courses are on scenic farm roads.

- Course Info: The 2006 Lake Stevens 70.3 Triathlon will start from the public boat launch in downtown Lake Stevens, Washington. This community has hosted several national and regional NCAA rowing championships from this exact location.
- The water is clean and clear and athletes should expect water temperatures around 70 degrees for race weekend.
- The 58 mile bike course will be a double loop course that is moderately hilly through some of the most beautiful terrain in the Pacific Northwest. The bike course aid station will offer fresh water bottles, energy bars, energy drink, medical assistance and portable toilet facilities. The bike course will be clearly marked with directional signs and mile markers at every five miles.
- The 13.1 mile run course will be a double loop that will take competitors out of the downtown into the surrounding community for the final leg the triathlon. The run course will offer aid stations at each mile complete with water, energy drinks, energy bars and portable toilets.
- Directions To Race: The greater Lake Stevens area,located in Snohomish County 38 miles north of Seattle and eight miles east of Everett, Washington, is centered around a 1,040 acre natural lake with eight miles of shoreline.

- Course Info: The Seventh Annual HOTS Tri is USAT Sanctioned, and is a well-run small-scale tri with small-town flavor but with professional-quality production. Excellent competition - just check out the prior race results. One of the few Seattle-area tris with a salt water swim.
- Swim: Triangular course in protected Quartermaster Harbor - salt water swim! GPS distance setting of buoys. Water is warmer than the Sound, but most bring wetsuits: Temp 63-67f.
- Bike: Great rural road course with flats and rolling hills, two challenging climbs, and a couple of great down-hills. Rolling traffic closures.
- Run: Twice around the 1.8 mile Burton Loop, a very gentle run.
- More: Take the ferry the day before and spend the night; or take an early morning ferry to Vashon and make your way to Burton. Turn east at the four-way stop and circle the Burton Peninsula to the Jensen Point boat-ramp. Drop your gear and park at Camp Burton, just down the road.
