- Course Info: This race will include 6-12 miles of mountain biking, 3-6 miles of trail running and several “hazards” that will take advantage of many of the activities that Nemacolin Woodlands Resort has to offer. All combine for an event lasting 2-4 hours, depending on ability and/or fitness level.

- Course Info: A first for the area – A half iron distance & sprint distance race in the beautiful and challenging Mountains of the Poconos. It will take place in beautiful Beltzville State Park, just minutes from Jim Thorpe and many other Pocono Mountain Resorts. The park is located in Carbon County.
- The race begins from the beach and into the picturesque waters followed by a scenic yet challenging bike course; with elevations of more than 650’. The run course is phenomenal. It is an out and back on hard packed scenic trails. The Army Corps of Engineers has given CGI special permission to design the run course where athletes will run across the Beltzville Dam (on a paved trail); offering a panoramic view of the Reservoir.

- Swim: 1000 meters, average water temp is 70 degrees. Swim will be well marked with buoys & athletes will swim in a clock wise direction, with the buoys on their right. ( DCNR life guards will be stationed at intervals along the swim in kayaks.)
- Mountain Bike: 11 miles. The mountain bike course is a combination of fire roads, single track trail & some park roads. Terrain is rolling & typical of western Pennsylvania. (Their will be volunteers along the course but there will not be aid stations.)
- Trail Run: 4.2 miles. The trail run is almost entirely run on single track trails. Some very technical. A good portion of the trail run will follow the Ridge Top Trail, located to the south of the beach parking areas. Terrain is rolling & typical of western Pennsylvania. (There will be 2 water aid stations along the course.) There will be an aid station located at the Start/Transition/Finish area with water, Gatorade, & fruit. - Course Info: The Sprint Triathlon begins and ends at the Southern Branch YMCA.
- The race distances will consist of a 500 yard swim (20 lengths) in our eight lane pool. There will be two swimmers per lane. A heat sheet will be posted at the pool showing lane assignments and will be announced. (Be ready to swim).
- The bike portion will be a looped course totaling 12.5 miles.
- The run will be through nearby developments totaling a distance of 3.0 miles.

- From the south, take I-83 north cross into Pennsylvania and take the Exit 4 (Shrewsbury). Keep left off the exit and turn left onto PA-851. Go through three traffic lights and turn left onto S. Main St. At the first stop traffic light, turn right onto Constitution Ave. The YMCA is about 500 yards down the road on your left.
