Struggling swimmers will be stopped and helped to shore. Water temperature is typically in the mid-70's, so expect wetsuits to be allowed.

The rolling course consists of one counter-clockwise loop.
- The single-loop run heads west along a lakefront path and winds its way through the city of Geneva. After a quick jaunt through the gardens of Houghton House and quintessential Geneva neighborhoods, the route weaves north through vineyards and the campus of Hobart & William Smith Colleges before returning downtown and a finishing stretch along the same lakefront path from which it began.

- Price: $95
- Course Info: American Zofingen will take place on October 14th, 2007. Our inspiration is the legendary Powerman Zofingen, the severity of which is due more to its terrain (mountainous road bike course, hilly trail runs) than its formidable length (10K run / 150K bike / 30K run). American Zofingen, although slightly shorter, is actually harder. US athletes no longer need travel to Europe to experience the best that duathlon has to offer. Mohonk, as a venue, offers stunning scenery and a grueling challenge. Late October in the Hudson Valley is a wondrous time of flaming foliage, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hot cider, headless horsemen and, now, the toughest duathlon on the planet.
- Directions To Race: NYS Thruway exit 18 (New Paltz). Take a left on 299 (Main Street), proceed through town down to and accross Wallkill River. Take 1st right after bridge. 1/2 to fork in road, go left. Climb up and over the mountain, passing Mohonk Mountain House. Descend down other side about 1 mile to Spring Farm, Upper 27 Knolls Rd., on right on the big left hand bend in road. Proceed to entry shack.
