    Course Info: Two person canoe teams will journey 6.5 miles on the Root River to the Mound Prairie Bridge for the bike transition, where you will ride 8 miles back towards scenic Houston, with the final leg a 3 mile run into Trailhead Park in Houston.
    Directions To Race: Houston is the "Best of the Bluff Country" in beautiful southeastern Minnesota. From I-90 take Hwy 76 south approximately 15 miles into Houston.

    Course Info: The race start and transition will be at the west end of Edgewater Park. The race will begin with a .5 mile open water lake swim in Edgewater Lake. Participants will then transition to a 19.8 mile bike through Albert Lea area country side, fairly flat with some rolling hills, mostly on newly paved roads. Racers will then transition for a 4.2 mile run along scenic Edgewater and Fountain Lake, fairly flat and fast course with minimal traffic.

    Course Info: The newly designed Sprint and Olympic length triathlon courses, will begin and end at Sturges Park. Participants will swim in the fresh waters of Buffalo Lake, bike past up to nine other lakes through the rolling farmland of Wright County and will finish with a run along the shores of Lake Buffalo.
    More: This race is designed for those who desire to attempt their first triathlon and for those who desire a challenging experience. This is also a great start to the triathlon season for those experienced athletes who are preparing for other races later in the summer.

Biking will be performed on a 2.2 mile loop consisting of paved trails and a closed portion of Game Farm Rd. Run segment will be on a cross-country course within the school campus.

    Course Info: Big park with a lot of space! Most of the kids' portion of the triathlon takes place inside the park!
  • Nice shallow, clean, and warm water to swim in. Quick and smooth bike course. Finish with a run in the park and a downhill to the finishline.
  • Event is supported by many lifeguards and volunteers. Kids' swim parallel to the shore in water never above their waist. Helmets must be worn. Swim caps are mandatory. Events start by age group with the oldest group first. Younger kids may be assisted by parents.
    More: All kids receive a t-shirt, goody bag, finishers medal and plenty of food and fun after the event!

  • Just north of the Twin Cities. Take 35W or 35E north to I-35. Take Exit 132 east onto Hwy 8 to Chisago City.

    Course Info: At the top of Paradise Park looks over the beach and the start of the swim course. This is a point to point swim and into the heavily shaded, grassy transition area. The bike heads out onto quiet country roads boasting the beauty of the St. Croix River. The run course spreads through residential neighborhoods and offers several water and gatorade stations.

    Location: Young Life Castaway Club's Sail beach
    Course Info: The swim goes along the bank of Castaway Club in 5ft water. Spectators can watch from bank to see race unfold. The bike begins with rolling hills, including a climb through the center of camp. It finishes with a long,flat sprint to camp. The run goes along Pelican Lake and concludes at Castaway's beach.
    Directions: From Minneapolis, take State Hwy 94 to Fergus Falls. Go north on State Hwy 59 towards Detroit Lakes. Eight miles before Detroit Lakes, look for County Hwy 20 and turn left. Go about 2.5 miles and turn left on County Hwy 31. Castaway Club will be on your right.
