- The 1/2 mile swim takes place in the calm waters of the Cohutta Springs Lake.
- The 18 mile bike ride will take participants over gently rolling hills with a few moderate climbs and several flat fast areas.

- From Chattanooga, TN: Take GA State Hwy 2 East from Ringgold (Exit 350) to intersection of GA State Hwy 2 and Ga State Hwy 225. - From East Tennessee: Take US Hwy 411 approximately 7 miles south of the Goergia/Tennessee state line to Cohutta Springs Road. Turn left onto Cohutta Springs Road crossing the railroad tracks. Follow Cohutta Springs Road until you come to Cohutta Springs entrance on left.
- Awards:
- T-Shirts (100% cotton) will be guaranteed to all pre-registered triathletes and race day registrations will be subject to remaining availability.
- Trophies will be presented to the overall first, second and third place male and female finishers, first place male and female masters, the top three male and female finishers in each age group., and top three finishers in the male, female and mixed relay teams.
