2014 Longboat Key Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon:
- The Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce will hold the Island's 2nd Annual Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon, on Sunday, May 5, 2013.
- Hosted at the Longboat Key Club & Resort, the endurance event will start at 7:00 a.m. and include a Triathlon (1/4 mile swim, 12-mile bike and 3-mile run), and a Duathlon (1-mile run, 12-mile bike and 3-mile run).
Course Information:
Sprint Triathlon
14 mile swim in the calm and pristine waters surrounding Longboat Key.
12-mile out-and-back bike oceanside on Gulf of Mexico Drive.
3-mile run through Longboat Key Club & Resort's 5-star property.
Sprint Duathlon
1st Run will be 1-mile out-and-back along Longboat Club Drive.
Flat and fast 12-mile, out-and-back bike oceanside along Gulf of Mexico Drive.
Run 3 miles through Longboat Key Club & Resort's 5-star property.
