2014 Pacheco Spring Triathlon & Relay
The Pacheco Water Polo Team and Track & Field Team invite you to join us at our 2nd annual triathlon fundraising event! We are offering two course distances, a short and a long course, to provide challenges for beginners and seasoned triathletes alike. Also this year, we are adding a team relay to the sprint distance. We have made many improvements this year based on all of the wonderful comments and suggestions we received last year. You can expect to see: mile markers, course changes, new bike racks, upgraded t-shirts among many other improvements.
We are capping the race at 100 participants this year. Race day registration will be available if the race does not fill up. For questions email: [email protected]
Course Information:
The event will be in a run-bike-swim format. A mass start run will kick off the race. The run and bike will be flat, road courses. The race will finish with a pool swim. Transition positions are assigned based on registration order. No scrambling to find a position! Awards will be given for the top finishers in each course and three deep in each age group. Food and refreshments will be provided for the race participants following the event. All participants will receive a race t-shirt, participation medal, and be entered in a drawing to win a RoadID gift card. Make this early event an annual tradition to kick off your triathlon training season! Come for the triathlon and stay for the fair!
