2014 Washington Five Points Indoor Triathlon:
6 Participants will start every 20 minutes, with 5 minutes transition from swim to bike, and one minute transition time from bike to run. Performance will be based upon distance covered in the pool, on the cardio bike, and on the indoor track. massages, food and finisher medals are available to all that finish. sign up can be done via phone or download forms from website at Five Points. Questions can be answered at 309-472-8449 ( Denise Cooksey Race Director) or Mollie Lenac 309-634-5128....or Five Points, 309-444-8222. Must be 12 years old or older to participate. Waivers must be signed on back of form or at the race site before competing. There are no awards in age groups, but finisher medals to all upon completion. Five Points Washington is located on Wilmor Road. Directions....coming from I-74 take Rt. 116 north to Rt. 24....can take Washington exit and go through town turning left on Rt. 8 up to Wilmor....or take Rt. 24 up to Main- turn right to square and head south to Wilmor.
Course Information:
10 minute swim in pool.....
transition into locker room and up stairs to exercise bikes with computers.
you will have 5 minutes transition time, and bottles of water supplied if needed.
20 minutes on the bike will be timed by a person with a timer, and then 1 minute transition to the track where the bikes will be positioned next to.
you will receive a finisher certificate indicating mileage accomplished, a finisher medal, and down the stairs will be massages, and food.
Directions:
Five Points Washington is located on 360 N. Wilmor Rd. Washington, Illinois. This was the location of the F-4 tornado. Coming from I-74, turn north on 116 until ramp to Washington ( Rt. 24) You can take this all the way to Main street, turn right to the square and 1/4 of the way around head south to Wilmor. You can also take 24 and turn to go through town ( Washington ramp) to Rt. 8. Turn left at the light ( T) and head through several lights to Wilmor Rd. There is a Walgreens and CVS on the left with Wilmor going up a slight hill to large building to the left after the firehouse.
