2014 Superbowl Y-Tri Sprint Triathlon:

Ever thought about doing a triathlon but were concerned about an open water swim, long bike ride or the dreaded run? Well NO MORE EXCUSES!!!!

Join us for this years Superbowl Y-Tri XI.

This event is first and foremost FUN for everyone.

Its a very unique set up and is designed for you to finish your first triathlon!

We are looking for people who have done only a few triathlons, and preferrably NONE!

Course Information:

Sprint Triathlon:

The 400 meter heated pool swim is exciting, fun and has lots of places to rest if needed!

The 12 mile bike is on mosty bike lane roads of the Palmer Ranch area.

The final 2.2 mile run is in and around the Potter Park area near the YMCA campus.

There is also a FREE childrens race for kids up to age 12 to get them into the great sport of triathlon early!

Youth Triathlon Distances:

Kids 7 & over: 50 meter Swim/4 Loop Bike/2 Loop Run

Kids 6 & under: 25 meter Swim/2 Loop Bike/1 Loop Run

Directions:

I-75 to Exit 205 Clark Road.

West on Clark to McIntosh Rd.

Left (south) on McIntosh to Central Sarasota Parkway.

Right (west) on Central Sarasota Parkway to Potter Park Drive.

Right on Potter Park Drive.

Entrance to YMCA on Right.
