Promise in Brevard will benefit from the 2nd Annual Scrub Jay 5K and USAT Sanctioned Sprint Duathlon. Both races will begin at the lovely Chain of Lakes Park in Titusville. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 7:30 AM, Sprint Duathlon at 8:30 AM. The bicycling part of the Duathlon will meander through residential areas of north Titusville. Courses available on web-site. Zumba warm-up, Music, Race T-shirts & Medals will be part of the event. We've partnered with the 17th Annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival to promote awareness of individuals with special needs throughout Brevard County.
Course Information:
Both the 5K and Sprint Duathlon will begin at the Chain of Lakes Park in Titusville, Florida. The cycling part of the Sprint Duathlon will continue west of the Park meandering through North Titusville to Salt Lake WMA and return to the Park for the second 5K. Directions:
Take I-95 to Exit 220, go East to US-1. Go North on US-1. Turn Right on Truman Scarborough Way into Chain of Lakes Park. Turn Right on Snowy Egret Drive. Parking on Left. Parking is also available behind BCC Gymnasium.
